MLK Jr Day of Service Volunteer Opportunities

MLK 2.0 is a series of events brought to you by the Livingston Diversity Council, the Howell Carnegie Library and Huron-Clinton Metroparks. Its goal is to deepen our understanding of Martin Luther King, Jr. and his profound impact on the civil rights movement. This year, celebrate MLK Jr. Day with a day of service! There will be projects available for different age groups at several local locations.

To sign up for most service opportunities at local non profit organizations, view and sign up on this website.

The day of service activity held in the library's Meabon Room will be packaging seeds for the Seed Library. Adults and children third grade and up are welcome to participate in the project. Children in preschool through 2nd grade can participate with the help of a parent or guardian. Registration is required.
