Membership Information
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Livingston Diversity Council. You membership means the continuation of events and initiatives in Livingston County that keep the issues of diversity and justice at the forefront in our community. Please choose one of the membership options below. Each membership has voting and participation rights in the Livingston Diversity Council and lasts for one calendar year:

General Membership $25.00

  • • Advance notice on all events happening through the diversity council
    • Quarterly e-newsletter

Student Membership $5.00

  • Participate in exciting programs geared toward youth
  • Advance notice of all events happening through the diversity council
  • Learn how to advance the spirit of diversity in your community
  • Gain leadership skills that will prepare you for the future

Let us know which of these four areas interest you most, and we’ll occasionally contact you to with options to participate in the following ways:

Programming
Plans educational and entertaining programs for the LDC. Initiates short-term committees to plan and execute specific projects throughout the year.

Community Outreach
The goal of this committee is to enhance the community’s awareness of The Livingston Diversity Council through membership recruitment and communication, public presentations, the website & other media.

Youth
Initiates programs designed to educate and inform young people about the issues of diversity and inclusion. Collaborates and communicates with county educators and other youth program coordinators in order to develop young leaders who are sensitive to the issue of diversity.

Business
Builds county connections with local businesses and community leaders. Encourage corporate involvement to help focus campaigns that welcome diversity within Livingston County.

 

While the money you contribute to our efforts through your membership dues is certainly appreciated and, we hope, put to the very best use we can find, your gift of time, ideas and talent would not only help us, but yourself and our community.
