In September 2019, the Livingston Diversity Council proudly and unanimously voted to support the efforts of Pride Alliance of Livingston (PAL) as we officially brought the group under the auspices of the Council.
Mission: The Pride Alliance of Livingston is a new community-based organization promoting an all-inclusive community for our neighbors through LGBTQ+ education, collaboration and advocacy for equality, in order to celebrate our similarities and embrace our individuality.

The pride alliance Journey
This journey in supporting the LGBTQ+ Community began as a brainstorming session in November 2018 to identify what services currently exist in Livingston and what services we were lacking. About half of these attendees then decided to continue the conversations during monthly meetings for the next year. In May 2019, it was determined that the group needed to have a continued presence in the community and thus the group’s identity was formed into Pride Alliance of Livingston (PAL) and the mission was created.
Who is PAL?
The Pride Alliance is made up of committed community members from various human service organizations as well as dedicated members from the LGBTQ+ community, their family members, friends and allies.
Advocacy Goals:
•Helping create a more aware community
•Sharing ways to be more inclusive in places we live, work and play
•Helping people share their voice
•Celebrate our similarities and embrace our individuality

Pride Alliance meetings are held virtually on the third Wednesday of every month 12:00 - 1:00 pm. If you are interested in attending, please email pridealliancelivingston@gmail.com to request the meeting login information.
Launched in May 2020, the #AllAreWelcome initiative invites agencies, businesses and organizations to display our 4” x 4” window cling to show their commitment to operating a safe and welcoming space for all.
