The Day of the Dead Celebration in Howell is organized by the Minority Education Freedom Foundation in collaboration with community partners. The purpose of this event is to highlight the positive contributions and rich culture of the Hispanic community—especially the Mexican community, which represents the largest immigrant group in Michigan.
Through music, dance, tradition, and community participation, this celebration honors loved ones who have passed while showcasing the beauty, resilience, and heritage of this culture.
